Return to Running Program

Unsure of whether you’re ready to run or not? Have you been told that you’re far enough post op but have no clue whether your leg is ready for the demands of running? Our pre-running entry point will allow you to see whether you meet the criteria to run or not while also giving you access to our running prep exercise training program to ensure you’re as ready to run as possible! This program will emphasize getting you ready to run before transitioning to a structured training program designed to help you get to the next step in your training, the Return to Sport phase.

 

Return to Sport Program

Back to running but not fully ready to get back to activities that look like your sport or activity? Our Return to Sport training program will allow you to assess your readiness with our return to sport testing battery while also giving you a detailed, all-inclusive strength and conditioning program that utilizes all the principles of ACL recovery that makes us experts in the return to sport game. This program can also be great for those who are looking for a great prehab program before surgery, as we know that the stronger you are going into surgery, the better you’ll be coming out! Each training block is five weeks long and will continue to update as you hit new milestones.

 
 

Return to Play Program

Our final entry point is our Return to Play training program. This program is amazing for those who have gotten back to sport but need a robust, detailed strength and conditioning program that utilizes ACL recovery principles to not only maintain their current strength levels, but also continue to build on top it. Each five week training block will focus on keeping you in the game and allow you access to a gym program that is ACL specific.

 

Return to Performance Program

Want a full body program that takes into account your desire to keep your knee strong but also serves as your strength and conditioning program? Then this program is for you. We’ve designed a progressive strength training program that continues to include “knee health” based movements that are great for the person who went through the ACL rehab process and wants to continue to stay on top of those principles. It’s also great for the person who’s never had an ACL or knee injury and wants to keep prevention at the top of the list. Each five week training block will focus on keeping you in the game and allow you access to a gym program that is ACL specific.

Meet your acl experts

Ziad Dahdul, PT, DPT, OCS

Doctor of Physical Therapy

Owner of Ignite Phyzio

Ziad brings a unique approach by blending functional movement principles with skilled hands on care. He possesses 11+ years of experience working with athletes across the spectrum from the youth level all the way up to the pros.

Ziad earned his B.S. in Kinesiology with an emphasis on clinical exercise science from California State University, Fullerton. He then went on to receive his doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Southern California (USC), the number one program in the country.

Over the years, Ziad has developed a clinical expertise in treating patients post ACL reconstruction in addition to rehabbing overhead athletes’ shoulder and elbow injuries. He has helped hundreds of people return to their sport and life at the highest outcome levels.

Ziad has a passion for taking the principles of sports performance and applying them to the general population, helping unleash the athlete within all of us. He’s a firm believer that no matter the sport, activity, or life demands, everyone deserves individualized care at the highest level possible.

Zachary Creighton, ATC, LAT, CSCS

Certified Athletic Trainer

Strength and Conditioning Coach

Zach is an Athletic Trainer and Strength and Conditioning Coach. He graduated with his Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training from Purdue University and his Master’s Degree from Michigan State University.

He brings a wealth of experience working with diverse athletes, spanning from high level teams like Carolina Panthers Football, Michigan State University Football, Valparaiso University Basketball, and the Fort Wayne Komets Professional Hockey Team to youth and high school athletes.

He utilizes his background as both an athletic trainer and a strength and conditioning coach to support injured athletes. His integrated approach not only focuses on recovery but also on improving all aspects of athleticism, equipping patients to excel post-injury.

In his free time Zach enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, and golfing.
